Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will join ABB's Industrial Automation Digital Organization as a Global SaaS Operations Architect, where you will define and govern the operational architecture for enterprise-scale SaaS platforms deployed across Azure cloud, on-premises, and edge environments. You will establish operational standards, platform reliability practices, observability strategies, and deployment governance to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available services. Working closely with Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Product Engineering teams, you will drive operational excellence and continuous platform modernization.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business in Bangalore, India.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for
- Define and govern operational architecture, deployment standards, and operational readiness frameworks for hybrid SaaS platforms across Azure cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.
- Drive platform reliability and operational excellence by establishing observability strategies, resilience patterns, capacity planning, automation, and standardized operational processes for deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
