SAP Basis Senior Product Specialist

• SAP Basis experience with strong hands-on SAP Solution Manager administration.
• Experience with SolMan 7.2 setup, managed systems, LMDB/SLD, diagnostics agents and monitoring.
• Strong SAP NetWeaver, HANA/database, Linux/Windows and connectivity troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of ChaRM, ITSM, Focused Build or Test Suite dependencies.
• Ability to lead technical operations and customer communications.
• SolMan upgrade or migration experience.
• SAP Cloud ALM exposure.
• SAP Basis or Solution Manager certification.
• Certifications remain preferred only until the capability owner confirms otherwise.

Key Responsibilities

• Own SolMan architecture, sizing, installation/upgrade, managed-system configuration and operational governance.
• Configure and support LMDB, SLD, agents, RFCs, extractors, diagnostics and technical monitoring.
• Coordinate system monitoring, alerting, job management, root-cause analysis and service reporting.
• Support ChaRM, ITSM, test-suite and documentation capabilities from a Basis perspective.
• Plan patches, kernel/database activities, backups, performance tuning and high availability.
• Lead incident resolution, environment changes, security coordination and audit evidence.
• Guide junior Basis consultants and maintain runbooks and operational handover.

Skill Requirements
