Lead Software Engineer

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will lead the engineering direction of our Enterprise & Supply Chain Integrations (ESCI)/Marketplace/Franchise/Portfolio Brands building and modernizing the integration backbone that connects H&M's SAP landscape, enterprise platforms, cloud services, APIs, and supply chain applications across more than 70 global markets.
You will provide technical leadership, define scalable integration architectures, mentor engineers across Bengaluru and Stockholm, and drive engineering excellence through modern development practices, DevSecOps, automation, and AI-assisted engineering. Working closely with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders, you will deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing integration solutions that enable critical business operations.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Scrum Masters, Platform Engineers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders across global teams in Bengaluru and Stockholm. Together, you'll deliver enterprise-scale integration solutions supporting procurement, logistics, inventory management, article lifecycle, and retail fulfilment.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
- 9+ years of software engineering experience, including experience in a Technical Lead or Staff Engineer role.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and enterprise application development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Blob Storage, and Azure SQL.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SAP technologies (RFC/BAPI, IDocs, OData, SAP CPI/BTP), messaging systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform/Bicep, SQL, CI/CD, observability, and DevSecOps practices.
