Interactive Plant Environment Engineering Intern

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Support the integration of the Boulder and Shakopee Interactive Plant Environments through DeltaV distributed control systems, leveraging the updated DeltaV software being implemented at the Boulder IPE to enable seamless remote connectivity between the two sites.
- Configure and test remote connectivity features within the DeltaV control system, ensuring reliable communication and control across geographically distributed plant environments.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to the customer experience within the IPE, particularly for customer tours and paid training courses, by leveraging remote connectivity capabilities to expand the reach and impact of Boulder's demonstration environment.
- Collaborate with the Boulder Marketing Coriolis team and engineering stakeholders to align project deliverables with business goals, customer engagement strategies, and technical requirements.
- Gain hands-on exposure to Emerson technologies across multiple measurement and control disciplines, including flow, pressure, temperature, analytical, and flame & gas systems, and understand how they are integrated into simulated unit operations within the IPE.
- Document system configurations, connectivity architectures, and enhancement recommendations to support ongoing IPE development and knowledge transfer within the team.
