Mission:
The Application Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Windows-based applications and engineering tools within the GHG emissions ecosystem. The role focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality software solutions, supporting legacy applications, improving system performance, and ensuring alignment between Windows and Linux implementations throughout the transition and decommissioning phases. The position requires strong software engineering skills, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and active participation in Agile development processes. Participate in knowledge transfer activities with the current GHG emissions team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new application features and functionalities.
Maintain and support applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Contribute to software architecture and modernization initiatives.
Ensure alignment between Windows applications and Linux versions.
Develop and maintain automated tests.
