This role is placed under the ‘First Line Compliance’ function of EXL’s diversified, banking and F&A business units. The ‘FLC’ team is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s first-line compliance function. The role entails ensuring that business operations adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, support various audits and gap closure, work with different departments to improve controls and process design, disseminate best practices, fostering a culture of compliance while empowering the business to manage their risk and control environment.

This role will focus on overseeing the FLC function for specific business units, implement and evolving the FLC framework for maximum impact, work with various stakeholders to improve risk detection and mitigation, fix design gaps, work with 2nd and 3rd lines of defence to improve EXL’s risk posture, contribute to defining compliance requirements for new and emerging businesses and domains. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, team leadership, and hands-on expertise in compliance management.
