What You Will Do:
Ensure the highest level of up-time and quality of service to customers through operational quality.
Design, maintain, and improve global production traffic infrastructure.
Ownership of reliability issues using a wide variety of tools.
Identify areas to improve service resiliency through techniques such as chaos engineering, performance / load testing, and game days.
What You Will Bring:
Knowledge of load balancing, service mesh, and edge deployments (Envoy and Nginx)

Expertise with Networking, Security, Logging, and Observability
Maintaining customer commitments
Navigating the complexities of the business and service reliability
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to coach & mentor other ICs
Degree in computer science, related field, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is highly desirable
5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience
Developing in Go, Python, or similar programming languages
Pay Range: $105,000 - $110,000 per year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Sunnyvale, CA.
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
