Job SummaryThe Test Manager will plan coordinate and optimize testing activities for complex enterprise solutions built on Mainframes SAP MDM NW GDS and IBM TPF platforms. The role involves defining test strategies managing test execution in a hybrid work model and ensuring high quality releases for critical business processes in the travel intermediaries domain. The Test Manager will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to deliver reliable systems. ResponsibilitiesStrong Travel domain exposure across Reservations RES PSS Ticketing Fares and Pricing with hands on understanding of high volume transactional flowsProven TPF zTPF mainframe knowledge including TPF OS internals runtime behaviour TPFDF TPF files and related tooling trace capabilities supporting critical production workflowsSolid working knowledge of GDS reservation ecosystems and common artifacts like PNR SSR TTY and end to end booking lifecycle within reservation systemsComfortable with complex integration landscapes around Offer and Order style constructs and hybrid tech stacks including TPF Linux Windows mixes and legacy mainframe components enabling effective troubleshooting and modernization conversations
Define and maintain a comprehensive test strategy for systems built on Mainframes SAP MDM NW GDS and IBM TPF to ensure consistent quality across all releases
Plan detailed test phases including functional regression integration and system tests to achieve reliable production deployments for critical enterprise platforms
Coordinate test planning and execution across distributed teams in a hybrid work environment to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality goals
Review business and technical requirements to design effective test scenarios that validate end to end workflows for core business capabilities
Develop detailed test cases and reusable test data sets that cover core functions edge cases performance flows and integration points across platforms
Oversee defect lifecycle activities from identification and logging through triage retesting and closure to minimize production incidents and rework
Collaborate with development support infrastructure and business stakeholders to clarify issues prioritize defects and drive timely resolution of quality risks
Monitor test progress and quality metrics such as defect density coverage levels and exit criteria to provide clear status updates and data driven decisions
Optimize test processes by identifying gaps implementing improvements and promoting reuse of test assets while aligning with enterprise standards and tools
Coordinate user acceptance activities by preparing environments clarifying scenarios and supporting business testers to validate that solutions meet expected outcomes

Qualifications
Possess strong experience in testing complex solutions built on Mainframes platforms including batch processing online transactions and data intensive workflows
Demonstrate hands on exposure to SAP MDM NW GDS testing including data quality validation master data governance rules and integration with upstream and downstream systems
Apply practical knowledge of IBM TPF environments when validating critical transaction flows stability and reliability for high volume processing systems
Bring working familiarity with travel intermediaries domain processes such as reservations inventory management pricing and partner integrations to design realistic tests
Use proven skills in test planning estimation risk based prioritization and scheduling for projects requiring eight to twelve years of overall experience in testing roles
Communicate clearly with cross functional teams by preparing concise reports dashboards and risk summaries that support informed decision making by stakeholders
Leverage experience with test management tools defect tracking systems and collaborative platforms that support hybrid work models and structured test governance
