Job Description:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining support material such as Product Manuals, procedures for O&G tools from Content Management tool. As a member of a small, dynamic documentation team and an integral part of the enterprise organization within an agile environment, he or she will make sure that instructional guides and reference manuals are clear enough for new users and detailed enough for advanced ones.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Generate technical content from existing documentation and tool manuals of O&G tools
- Strategize, Plan and execute content level and description
- Collaborate with SME and AMO technicians and suggest Event-based Maintenance (EBM) strategies instead of Levels of Maintenance (LoM) based on tools usage and repair cycles
- Interact with technicians (end-users) and update chunks for improved productivity
- Write engaging content from AMO's technician point of view
