We are currently seeking a Technical Consultant ThingWorx 10.x & Smart Connected Product Accelerator (SCPA) to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant – ThingWorx / SCPA to configure, develop, integrate, test, and deploy SmartConnect capabilities using ThingWorx 10.x and Smart Connected Product Accelerator (SCPA).
Working within an approved solution architecture, the Technical Consultant will provide hands-on implementation expertise across ThingWorx development, SCPA configuration, remote-access capabilities, endpoint automation, access governance, enterprise integrations, identity management, testing, deployment, and production support.
The consultant will translate documented user needs and Given/When/Then acceptance criteria into secure, scalable, supportable, and maintainable technical solutions. The role will prioritize standard SCPA capabilities, reusable components, and approved extension patterns while minimizing unnecessary customization.
ThingWorx & SCPA Development
- Configure SCPA applications, solution building blocks, menus, administration capabilities, asset hierarchies, status displays, and endpoint views.
- Create, configure, and maintain ThingWorx entities including Things, Thing Templates, Thing Shapes, Data Shapes, services, events, subscriptions, and Mashups.
- Develop reusable ThingWorx services, UI components, extensions, and integration adapters in accordance with approved architecture and development standards.
- Ability to implement technical solutions from approved architecture specifications.
- Ability to develop against Given/When/Then acceptance criteria and maintain technical traceability.
- Experience with source control, code reviews, CI/CD, defect management, release management, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ThingWorx Developer or ThingWorx Model Specialist certification.
- Hands-on experience configuring or extending SCPA building blocks and reusable components.
- Experience integrating ThingWorx with Salesforce.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OIDC, PAM, JIT privileged-access workflows, or similar enterprise identity platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based ThingWorx deployments.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging platforms.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL performance optimization.
- Experience supporting highly available and scalable ThingWorx environments.
- Experience working within regulated healthcare, medical-device service, industrial IoT, cybersecurity, life sciences, or quality-controlled environments.
Expected Deliverables

- Configured SCPA application components and ThingWorx entities.
- ThingWorx services, Mashups, extensions, reusable components, and integration adapters.
- Approved and repeatable deployment packages.
- Remote-access and endpoint-management capabilities.
- Endpoint automation and systematic data-processing workflows.
- Access-governance and JIT privileged-access workflows.
- Unity/Salesforce synchronization services, mappings, reconciliation logic, and operational alerts.
- Identity and access integrations for multiple user populations.
- Automated and manual test cases mapped to user needs and acceptance criteria.
- Test execution evidence and technical traceability.
- Defect resolutions and root-cause documentation.
- Deployment and implementation instructions.
- Production-support runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
- Configuration and code documentation.
- Knowledge-transfer materials and sessions.
Measures of Success
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Implemented capabilities successfully meeting approved user needs and acceptance criteria with traceable test evidence.
- Effective utilization of standard SCPA configuration and reusable building blocks wherever practical.
- Minimal unnecessary customization of the ThingWorx/SCPA platform.
- Compliance with approved coding, architecture, security, performance, audit, and documentation standards.
- Reliable and repeatable deployments compatible with the approved ThingWorx 10.x architecture.
- Stable integrations with Salesforce/Unity, enterprise identity platforms, and other connected systems.
- Timely resolution of defects, integration issues, and performance problems.
- Delivery of clear and usable operational documentation, support runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Successful knowledge transfer enabling operational and support teams to effectively maintain the delivered SmartConnect solution.
