A key role within Allianz Technology , mainly responsible for maintaining/leading the Linux System Administration tasks starting from the basic monitoring, troubleshooting & administration, Automations to the advanced level implementations like Server setup, installations, Upgrades, Support and maintenance for customers (including on call support) .
You will
Monitoring Backend Applications and Linux Onprem and AWS servers
Load monitoring, Linux patching, RHEL* and Microfocus Upgrades
Resolving issues in BMC Patrol, True Sight and Xmatters Monitoring Tool
Deployment of backend Test ,Pre prod and Prod environment as per business requirement
Automation of Backend Tasks using Ansible
Preparation of Technical documentations
Install ,configure and manage Linux applications required for backend systems
Administration of Micro focus and Control-M
Handling L1/L2 operational tasks such as:
User administration (setup and maintenance of technical user accounts)
Monitor system performance
Password and identity management
Ensure sufficient cover is maintained to support the operational shifts

Handling L2/L3 operational tasks and Linux Administration
Change, Problem & Incident Management
Ensure that the solutions developed within the team align to architecture standards, process and principles
Your skills
Must have
6+ years of experience working in Linux environments and server administration.
Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow
Flexible to work in shifts and willingness to take responsibility during major implementations like Patching, Upgrades
Know-how/experience in scheduling tools like Control M or UC4
Knowledge in scripting (bash/python)
Knowledge in Ansible- writing playbooks
Know – how in Microsoft tools : Outlook, Word, Excel
Must be a good team player. Willingness to learn and spread the learnings gained to the whole team.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good to have
Linux trained and certified (RHSE/RHCSA) from a reputed institution
Experience in ticketing systems – SNOW
Experience in subversion tools like GIT, SVN
Knowledge in cloud solutions – AWS & Azure
Knowledge in Ansible automation
Experience in “Development of automation solutions“-Jenkins, Ansible and Kubernetes, Microfocus tool
Understanding of agile framework concepts like Scrum, KanBan
Demonstrably high focus on customer service
