System Integration Test Engineer (5G-Advanced & Next-Gen 6G)

Qualcomm is seeking a motivated System Integration Test Engineer, Staff/Senior Lead/Senior Engineer to drive end-to-end validation of 5G-Advanced and next-generation 6G technologies and solutions. The role involves system integration, performance validation, automation development, lab testing, and field trials in multi-vendor environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end System, Performance, Scalability, Stability, and Interoperability Testing of 5G-Advanced and next-generation 6G technologies and solutions.
- Bring up and manage complex E2E testbeds involving UE, RAN, Core, SMO, and RIC components.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for test execution and reporting.
- Create and execute test plans with traceability to product requirements and features.
- Analyze logs, protocol traces, and KPIs to perform debugging and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and Program Management teams.
- Participate in lab validations, interoperability events, and field trials.
- Open to domestic and international travel for testing, interoperability, and deployment activities.
Required Skills
- 3–12 years of experience in 5G system integration and testing.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications, 5G procedures, and call flows.
