Supply Chain AI Solutions Architect

Cognizant is looking to hire a Supply Chain AI Solutions Architect who will be part of the SCM AI practice within our Product Delivery Team (EPS). The role spans three areas: presales solutioning, running customer pilots in Supply Chain AI, and solutions architecture for new SC/AI offerings. You will work closely with Sales/BD, Functional SCM, and senior architecture reviewers to turn incoming requests into credible technical responses, then carry validated solutions through pilot delivery. A strong grasp of both AI-based solutioning and traditional SCM technical architecture is needed, along with depth in at least one functional area of Supply Chain.What you'll do -Presales

• Own first-level technical solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs - AI/agentic solutions and traditional custom builds (integrations, data architecture)
• Map requests to existing solution patterns; escalate novel or complex asks to senior architecture review
• Provide effort sizing and feasibility calls under bid deadlines
• Draft technical solution sections of proposals - architecture, differentiators, risks, dependencies
• Apply Cognizant pricing model with reuse in mindCustomer Pilots6. Run customer pilots for SC AI solutions - scoping, execution, and measurement against KPIs7. Act as technical point of contact through the pilot lifecycle, coordinating with client and internal teams8. Convert pilot outcomes into case studies and reusable proof pointsSolutions Architecture9. Design solution architecture for new SC/AI offerings - data models, integration patterns, platform-to-play mapping10. Liaise with platform teams (Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP) on new capabilities11. Contribute to the SC AI play portfolio, keeping architecture reusable across clientsQualifications, Experience and Aptitude -
• 8-12 years in SCM technology consulting, with presales/solution architecture exposure
• Hands-on experience with both AI/agentic solutions and traditional integration/data builds
• Strength in one SC functional area (Planning/Forecasting, WMS, Order Management, Control Tower) plus working knowledge across the broader SC landscape
• Working knowledge preferred across any of: Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, 09 (or similar)
• Life Sciences, Retail, or Manufacturing exposure preferred
• Familiarity with AI maturity frameworks a plus
• Strong communication skills - clear technical writing under deadline pressure, confident client engagement during pilots
• Self-driven, proactive and attention to detail necessary
• Based in India (Bangalore/Chennai preferred); limited travel for pilot engagements
