Role Summary:
Drive localization of permanent magnets (NdFeB, Ferrite, SmCo) by collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to develop, qualify, and industrialize magnet solutions for automotive and industrial applications.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Execute magnet localization and supplier development projects.
- Evaluate, audit, and qualify magnet suppliers.
- Drive APQP, PPAP, process validation, and product approvals.
- Review drawings, specifications, and magnetic performance requirements.
- Support magnet testing, validation, and manufacturing process development.
- Resolve supplier quality issues using 8D, RCA, and CAPA.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D.
- Monitor project milestones, supplier readiness, and risks.
Educational qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
