Job Title: Specialist - Treasury Middle Office
Function: Finance / Risk
Role Purpose
The Treasury Middle Office role supports the Front Office / Market Desk by ensuring robust governance, controls, risk monitoring, and reporting across treasury and market activities. The role acts as a critical link between the dealing desk, back office, finance, and risk functions.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations & Market Support
Support treasury market desk activities including FX, interest rate, liquidity, and funding transactions.
Validate and independently confirm deals executed by the Front Office for accuracy, limits, and compliance.
Ensure timely capture of trades in treasury systems and coordinate settlement with Back Office
Risk Management & Controls
Monitor market risk (FX, IR, commodity), counterparty risk, and liquidity risk against approved policies and limits.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on respective portfolios & their exposures, VaR/sensitivity, mark‑to‑market (MTM), and limit utilization.
Escalate breaches, exceptions, and emerging risks to Treasury Head / Risk Committee.
Support stress testing, sensitivity analysis, and hedge effectiveness assessments.
