The Assurance Function Team Member is an embedded control-assurance specialist within Allianz Technology of America's IT organization, reporting to the Assurance Function Lead. This role executes the day-to-day responsibilities of the Assurance Function including control rollout communications and training, creating and maintaining control documentation, BAU evidence collection, and assessment preparation and execution. The Team Member ensures that IT services maintain continuous alignment to Allianz Group policy and TMC control requirements, enabling the organization to be compliant by design.
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years of experience in IT governance, compliance, security operations, or control assurance.
Hands-on experience with evidence collection, control testing, or internal audit support in an IT environment.
Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST) and their application to service-level control requirements.
Experience working within Agile delivery teams or alongside Security Champions in a DevSecOps or product-based IT model is an advantage.
Prior exposure to Allianz ARS processes or equivalent group-level IT compliance programs is preferred.
Role & Responsibilities
Communicate Group IT CISO policy and TMC control updates to assigned IT teams, supporting training, rollout planning and execution in coordination with the Assurance Function Lead.
Embed ARS control requirements into new and changed service design and build processes, acting as the security assurance touchpoint for project teams.
Develop and maintain control documentation for assigned services, including solution descriptions, control mapping, and evidence specifications.

Ensure assigned IT services are correctly onboarded to control solutions and common capability platforms, supporting automation enablement where possible.
Instill BAU evidence collection as a routine discipline within assigned service teams, collecting and validating evidence against control requirements on an ongoing basis.
Maintain and curate the evidence repository for assigned services, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and currency ahead of formal ARS assessments.
Support internal readiness reviews and pre-assessment walkthroughs, identifying gaps and coordinating remediation with Service Owners and technical teams.
Execute assessments on behalf of the Service Owner.
Assist with issue remediation and risk mitigation activities following ARS assessments, tracking actions to closure in coordination with the ARS Team and DIRM.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce manual compliance effort through automation and tooling.
Participate in ARS training programs and act as a point of contact for control-related queries within assigned IT service domains.
