About the role
As Specialist – Health & Wellness, you will be responsible for stewarding corporate health services across the Group, advancing occupational health compliance, preventive care, and digital health transformation, while shaping a forward-looking employee wellbeing strategy. The role also involves coordinating health resources across Group locations globally and stewarding institutional relationships with hospital and medical partners.
Key responsibilities:
Occupational health & statutory compliance
Uphold compliance with the Factories Act, applicable labour codes, the ESI Act, and other occupational health regulations across Group entities

Oversee medical examinations, and maintain statutory health registers with precision
Lead workplace health risk assessments, hazard identification, and exposure monitoring in close coordination with EHS/Safety teams
Govern occupational disease surveillance, incident reporting, and corrective action tracking
Serve as the principal liaison with regulatory authorities and statutory bodies
Employee health & wellbeing
Architect and oversee employee wellbeing programs spanning physical health, nutrition, ergonomics, and chronic disease management
Conceive and execute health camps, screenings, vaccination drives, and awareness initiatives
Interpret health trends and data to inform preventive health strategy
Engage stakeholders on health benefits and policy design
Digital health & MIS
Champion the adoption of digital health platforms, telemedicine solutions, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Own health MIS, dashboards, and analytics that inform internal decision-making and audit reporting
Establish standardised data capture and reporting frameworks across locations to ensure consistency and compliance
Identify and pursue opportunities to digitise and modernise health processes
Global health resource coordination
Coordinate occupational health resources, protocols, and standards across Group locations worldwide
Serve as the central point of reference for health matters across geographies, ensuring coherence in policy application
Guide the onboarding and governance of local medical officers and health vendors across sites
Benchmark health practices against global standards and drive harmonisation across the Group
Hospital & emergency care liaison
Cultivate and manage empanelment and liaison with hospitals, diagnostic centers, and clinics for referrals, emergencies, and medical evacuation
Oversee occupational health centre operations, paramedical staff, and medical infrastructure
Ensure the readiness of emergency response systems, first-aid stations, and medical equipment at all times
Clinical treatment and management and fitness protocols
Documentation, audit & reporting
Maintain accurate, confidential employee health records in accordance with data privacy and statutory norms
Prepare periodic health, incident, and compliance reports for management review
Support internal and external audits (ISO, statutory) and drive timely closure of audit findings
Who are we looking for?
Education:
MBBS from a recognised university; AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) certification — mandatory
Experience:
8–10 years of experience in occupational health, corporate health, or employee wellness, ideally within a manufacturing or large corporate group with multi-location exposure
Skills:
Deep working knowledge of the Factories Act, labour codes, ESI Act, and occupational health regulations
Demonstrated proficiency with digital health platforms, EHR/EMR systems, telemedicine, and health MIS/analytics
A proven record in designing employee wellbeing programs across mental health, chronic disease management, and preventive care
Experience managing hospital liaison and empanelment processes
Experience coordinating health initiatives across multiple sites or geographies
Sound clinical judgment complemented by strong emergency and crisis management capability
Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, health management/EHR software, and dashboard/reporting tools
Prior experience within a group/conglomerate structure with centralised health governance – good to have
Exposure to global health and safety standards or multinational occupational health frameworks – good to have
