Solution Architect – SAP Sustainability Control Tower (ESG)

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join us in shaping and evolving how IKEA delivers value to our customers and ensures our solutions remain scalable, compliant, and future-ready.

Passion for designing robust, scalable enterprise architectures that translate complex ESG and sustainability requirements into practical, compliant, and reliable solutions. Strong experience in SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT) and SAP Disclosure Management (DM), with a solid understanding of how these integrate within the broader SAP ecosystem. Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and measurable outcomes. Hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions across SAP SCT, SAP Datasphere, and SAP DM, including data models, integrations, workflows, and reporting layers. Experience working with statutory reporting, ESG reporting, or financial/non-financial regulatory reporting frameworks. Comfortable operating in complex, cross-functional, and international environments, collaborating effectively with Finance, Sustainability, and Technology stakeholders. Strong collaboration mindset, actively building relationships across teams and contributing to knowledge sharing and collective success. Curious and self-driven, with a continuous learning mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving regulatory and technology landscape.

The must-haves we see for this role is though:

Extensive SAP architecture experience, including hands-on expertise with SAP Sustainability Control Tower and SAP Disclosure Management. Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data and reporting solutions within ESG, sustainability, or statutory reporting domains. A relevant degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, combined with strong capabilities in data architecture, integration design, and enterprise system thinking.
