Amgen's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) service supports over 13,000 desktop instances globally. We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and cloud applications that enhance VDI operations and user experience.
You will work closely with service owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions using C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Graph API, and related technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET 8/10
Build and integrate REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API solutions
Develop serverless applications using Azure Functions
Create workflow automations using Azure Logic Apps
Design and manage solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and Blob Storage
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
Manage source code using Git and perform code reviews
Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve production applications
Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

Master's / Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, with 5-9 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong proficiency in C# and modern .NET development
Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and cloud technologies
Knowledge of LINQ, JSON, asynchronous programming, and software design principles
Experience with Git and end-to-end software development lifecycle
Understanding desktop-system lifecycle, endpoint management, and virtual desktop technologies.
Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting distributed cloud solutions.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies at a rapid pace.
Technical Skills
Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET 8/10, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
High degree of initiative, accountability, and self-motivation.

Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical, maintainable solutions.

Work Hours
This position operates on the second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Candidates must be willing and able to work during these hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
