We are currently seeking a Z2_QA - Playwright to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong understanding of testing best practices, and works closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define test strategies Execute automated and manual tests as needed and analyze results Identify, log, and track defects using test management/bug tracking tools Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and smoke test suites Maintain test data and test environments Continuously improve automation standards and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) Good understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns Experience testing web applications (cross-browser testing) Knowledge of API testing and basic REST concepts Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) Experience with version control systems (Git) Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) Knowledge of performance or security testing Experience with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) ISTQB or other testing certifications
