Senior Technical Specialist - DevOps, Python, Kubernetes

DevOps Strong Software Engineering and pipeline background preferably Java based Proven experience and understanding of modern engineering practices DevOps Tools (CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, GIT, Docker Containers) Test Automation Tools Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman Passion for collaborating with other engineers and building a strong team culture Proven experience innovating in automation to improve resilience, release frequency and promoting a DevOps culture in delivery teams Exposure to cloud technology – ideally GCP

Key Responsibilities

1. Designing, developing, and implementing robust devops solutions to enhance automation and efficiency in software development processes.
2. Utilizing python programming skills to create and maintain scripts and tools for system administration and automation tasks.
3. Managing and optimizing kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.
4. Collaborating with cross functional teams to integrate devops best practices and automate deployment pipelines.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to devops, python, and kubernetes environments.
6. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in devops, python, and kubernetes to drive continuous improvement.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in implementing and managing devops tools such as jenkins, git, docker, and ansible.
2. Strong programming skills in python for scripting, automation, and application development.
3. Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using kubernetes.
4. Knowledge of infrastructure as code (iac) practices with tools like terraform or cloudformation.
5. Solid understanding of ci/cd pipelines and best practices for software delivery.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in devops, python, or kubernetes would be a plus.
