We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the central governance and coordination function for the BMP transformation program across Belgium and the Netherlands. Reporting to the Head of Operations & Strategy, ensures structured, aligned delivery across all BMP initiatives — driving program governance and controlling, maintaining a single portfolio overview, and enforcing standardized processes, tools, and reporting. It supports budget tracking, KPI monitoring, and risk and issue management with timely escalation; manages stakeholders across Allianz Technology Benelux and the global BMP program; and coordinates external partners and vendors. It also champions AI-augmented, data-driven ways of working to sharpen reporting and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a project/program management certification is preferred.
8–10 years of overall experience in project, program, or portfolio management, with 4–6 years in a project governance or program governance/controlling role within large-scale transformation programs.
Proven experience establishing and running program governance, portfolio reporting, and standardized project governance processes, tools, and templates across multiple workstreams or geographies.
Strong command of budget tracking, financial controlling, KPI monitoring, and risk and issue management, with a track record of transparent and timely escalation.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience bridging multiple departments and aligning local delivery with a global program, including coordination of external partners and vendors.
Proficiency with project governance and portfolio management tooling (e.g. MS Project, Planview, Clarity, Jira) and advanced reporting and dashboarding (e.g. Power BI).
Familiarity with AI-enabled and GenAI-augmented ways of working — using AI tools for automated reporting, portfolio analytics, and data-driven decision-making — with awareness of responsible-AI and data-governance practices.

Experience working in international, matrixed environments, ideally within financial services or insurance; exposure to the Benelux region is an advantage.
Role & Responsibilities
Drive program governance and controlling across all BMP-related initiatives, ensuring structured delivery and alignment with the global BMP program.
Maintain a comprehensive portfolio overview of all BMP activities, tracking status, milestones, dependencies, and interdependencies across Belgium and the Netherlands.
Establish and maintain standardized processes, tools, templates, and reporting to ensure consistency and quality across all initiatives.
Support budget tracking and financial controlling, monitoring spend against plan and flagging variances early.
Define and monitor KPIs and program metrics, providing transparent, data-driven status reporting to leadership and the global program.
Lead risk and issue management — maintaining logs, driving mitigation actions, and ensuring timely escalation where needed.
Act as a central point for stakeholder management, bridging the different departments within Allianz Technology Benelux and aligning with the global BMP program.
Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of transformation activities.
Prepare and facilitate steering committees, governance forums, and program reviews, capturing decisions and tracking follow-up actions.
Apply AI-enabled and GenAI tools to automate reporting, surface portfolio insights, and strengthen data-driven decision-making across the program.
