To perform hands-on preventive, breakdown, cleaning, servicing, filter replacement, and routine maintenance of AHUs under the guidance of the HVAC/AHU Specialist, ensuring reliable operation of cleanroom HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
AHU Preventive Maintenance
Perform hands-on preventive maintenance of AHUs as per approved schedules.
• Inspect and maintain:
o Fans and motors o Bearings o Belts and pulleys o Filters o Cooling/heating coils o Dampers o Actuators o Drain trays o Valves o VFDs o AHU panels
Carry out lubrication, belt tensioning, alignment, cleaning, and component replacement.
AHU Cleaning & Filter Maintenance
Carry out routine AHU cleaning and housekeeping.
Clean pre-filters and other washable filters as per schedule.
Assist in replacement of fine filters and HEPA filters under approved procedures.
Monitor filter condition and differential pressure.
Maintain filter cleaning/replacement records.
Ensure proper cleaning practices to avoid contamination of cleanroom systems.
Air Balancing & Pressure Maintenance
Assist the HVAC specialist in air balancing and pressure balancing.
Take airflow and pressure readings using appropriate instruments.
Adjust dampers as instructed to achieve required airflow and pressure conditions.
Assist in troubleshooting room pressure and airflow deviations.
Maintain readings and balancing records.
