Tata AutoComp GY Batteries Pvt. Ltd. (TGY) is a prominent joint venture between TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd and Japan's GS Yuasa International Ltd, established to manufacture automotive and inverter batteries branded as "TATA Green Batteries". Founded in 2005, the company focuses on environmentally friendly, 90% recyclable lead-acid batteries for various vehicles, including two-wheelers, cars, and commercial vehicles.

QMS Management

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System as per ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable standards.

• Ensure effective implementation of quality procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.

• Monitor compliance with QMS requirements across all departments.

Audits & Compliance

• Plan and conduct internal quality audits.

• Coordinate external audits, certification audits, and customer audits.

• Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

Documentation Control

• Manage quality manuals, SOPs, procedures, forms, and records.

• Ensure document revision control and compliance with document management requirements.

Corrective & Preventive Actions

• Lead root cause analysis using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.

• Monitor CAPA effectiveness and drive continual improvement initiatives.
