Job Description – Senior Automation Engineer (Modernization & Quality Engineering)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Automation Engineer to support the modernization of a legacy product into a cloud-native architecture using Go, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices. The role focuses on enabling quality through automation across UI, API, performance testing, and AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Develop and maintain automated test suites for React applications and Go-based microservices.

- Automate API validation, contract testing, and service integration testing.

- Build and execute performance and load testing strategies for distributed systems.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

- Support validation of legacy functionality during modernization and migration efforts.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to establish quality engineering best practices.

- Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and testing activities.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress, or Selenium.

- Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI.
