About the Role
The Sales Manager – Personal Loan is responsible for acquiring new personal loan customers for a designated branch through direct customer interaction. The role involves explaining and selling banking products, acting as a bridge between customers and the bank, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery. The role also includes supervising catchment mapping, gathering customer feedback, and identifying and converting potential business opportunities. The Sales Manager plays a key role in driving client acquisition, deepening customer relationships, and maximizing lifetime customer value to support the bank’s broader growth objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Acquire personal loan customers within the identified segment.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition by analyzing customer transaction banking needs.
- Provide regular feedback to Relationship Managers (RMs) on customer opportunities and requirements.
- Ensure adherence to selling norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined by the organization.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Ensure quality sourcing in line with the bank’s credit and operational policies.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Supervise catchment mapping and monitor customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
- Support initiatives focused on automation and digital enablement to enhance customer experience.
