You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Record to Report (R2R) - Tax involves managing financial records to ensure compliance with tax regulations. This role includes collecting and processing financial data, preparing tax returns, and ensuring timely tax payments. It also involves conducting tax audits and providing accurate tax reports to authorities. The goal is to ensure the organization meets all tax obligations and avoids penalties. Design and implement processes for direct Tax/income tax. Includes direct tax/income tax planning, income tax accounting, income tax compliance and income tax audit. What are we looking for? 1. Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including the computation of current and deferred income taxes.
- Calculate and analyze temporary and permanent differences between book and tax income to determine accurate deferred tax assets and liabilities.
- Assess the need for and calculate valuation allowances for deferred tax assets, supported by forecasted profitability and objective evidence.
- Perform effective tax rate (ETR) calculations and analyze fluctuations across reporting periods, with clear explanations for management and auditors.
- Reconcile provision to tax return amounts, including RTP (Return to Provision) adjustments, and investigate material variances with cross-functional collaboration.
- Prepare statutory income tax provisions in compliance with SSAP No. 101, including accurate calculation of current and deferred tax assets and liabilities.
