Program Manager II, Amazon Hub and Flex
Amazon
Are you ready to shape the future of quick commerce in one of the world's fastest-growing delivery ecosystems? Amazon Flex is looking for a results-driven Program Manager to optimize capacity management across our Bengaluru dark store network. In this high-impact role, you'll solve complex operational challenges in real-time, working directly with delivery partners and station teams to ensure seamless last-mile delivery for our quick commerce customers.
This is not a desk job. You'll be at the forefront of operations—tracking capacity sufficiency across multiple dark stores, troubleshooting delivery performance issues on the ground, and building scalable solutions that directly impact customer experience. If you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where your decisions drive immediate results, this role offers an exceptional growth trajectory toward regional leadership in our expanding quick commerce business.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and optimize delivery capacity planning across Bengaluru's dark store network by coordinating with fleet managers and team leads to ensure operational readiness, especially during peak volume periods including weekends
- Drive operational excellence by owning key performance metrics including Delivery Service Rate (DSR) and On-Time Performance (OTP+3), conducting root cause analysis at stations and implementing programmatic solutions
- Collaborate tactically with cross-functional stakeholders including operations teams, delivery partners, and station managers to rapidly deploy capacity and resolve bottlenecks that impact customer delivery experience
- Execute field-based problem solving through gemba walks and ride-alongs with delivery partners to identify systemic issues, understand ground realities, and develop data-driven action plans for performance improvement
- Monitor program performance using relevant tools and mechanisms, communicate status to stakeholders through regular reviews, and escalate critical issues appropriately while maintaining project timelines and minimizing operational disruption
A day in the life Your day begins with analyzing capacity data across dark stores, identifying gaps, and engaging stakeholders to address shortfalls before they impact deliveries. You'll spend significant time in the field—visiting stations to investigate performance anomalies, conducting ride-alongs with delivery partners to understand their challenges firsthand, and running root cause analysis sessions with station teams. Between site visits, you'll coordinate with fleet managers on capacity deployment, track real-time operational metrics, and build scalable solutions to address recurring issues. This role demands agility as priorities shift with volume patterns and operational needs.
