About the Role:
PhonePe's Data Platform powers India's largest consumer payments app at national scale—managing petabyte-scale infrastructure, batch/real-time pipelines, and developer tooling entirely on-premise. You'll build the core data infrastructure, tools, and internal products that enable hundreds of engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business teams to move faster.
What You'll Do:
- Own product strategy, specs, and roadmaps for data platform components, APIs, and developer tools
- Synthesize requirements from business/product teams and translate them into system APIs, developer interfaces, and platform capabilities
- Work with architects and engineering leads to balance reliability, performance, technical debt, and new features
