The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is seeking a Product Development professional, focused on Business Analytics. This person will work closely with the front office and technology on multiple fronts to help execute strategic goals.
ICM has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.
This role is focused on short term tactical projects, which often bridge the gap between longer term tech projects.
The function is responsible for extensive partnering across all relevant businesses within ICG and Independent Risk to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance framework.
In this role, you’re expected to:
- Identify areas for improvement by listening to front office users and their management teams; prototype solutions and develop business requirements
- Continuously learn from and partner with business management and technology partners to identify opportunities to incrementally deliver business value through tactical tools
- Create prototypes for analytical tools that will later be productionized by ICM technology
- Partner with internal organizations such as finance, risk, middle office and compliance to improve cross functional workflows, feeds and reporting
- Collaborate with technology counterparts to define requirements and ensure proper governance over applications development, testing and releases
- Provide user training, solicit feedback and drive systems adoption
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide reporting as needed
