Accenture seeks a Senior Sourcing Analyst to collaborate with internal and external clients to support sourcing strategies related to various spend areas of Procurement. The resource will support multiple sourcing projects, client selection criteria, supplier selection processes, contract negotiations, and formal bidding processes. The resource will also develop market insights from cross-client sourcing activities, provide financial analyses, and collaborate with the Sourcing Category function.
Agile Sourcing involves quickly and efficiently finding and acquiring resources or services needed for a project. This includes identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery. The goal is to support agile project management by being responsive and adaptable. Responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships and optimizing procurement processes. This role is essential for keeping projects on track and within budget. Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers. What are we looking for? Bachelor s degree or B.E/B.Tech, MBA, CPSM/CPM
5 years in Sourcing & Category Management, with 80% in Global sourcing
Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate sourcing opportunities for tactical buys, ensuring alignment with category strategies and procurement policies.
Data Collection & RFx Preparation: Develop sourcing work plans, create data packages, and populate RFx templates for tactical purchases.
Supplier Identification & Pre-Qualification: Identify potential vendors using internal databases and market research; conduct pre-qualification checks.
