Job Description

Renesas Bangalore is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test with strong Python development and software architecture expertise to design and enhance GUI test automation frameworks, testing tools, and automated test suites in a fast-paced software, hardware, and firmware environment.

The role involves collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases for industry-leading digital controller products. Key responsibilities include defining test automation architecture, developing automation solutions, executing testing strategies, analyzing results, debugging issues, and driving quality improvements.

Ideal candidates will have deep software engineering experience, a strong quality mindset, hands-on automation expertise, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on complex technical challenges involving software and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test automation frameworks, tools, and test suites.

• Execute automated/manual tests and report defects and coverage.
