Coreresponsibilities for this role include leveraging engineering toolsand processes for effective provisioning, installation, configuration,operation, maintenance and support of NTT Ltd cloudinfrastructure. The successful Engineer will possess very strongtroubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently toresearch and resolve issues.

Job Description

Essential duties willinclude:Engineering, automating, and orchestrating systemprovisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud toolsand technologiesDesigning and building technical solutions in thecloud environmentPlanning, designing and developing cloud-based applicationsUnderstanding the needs for new initiatives tobuild scalable, distributed and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions on Azure, AWS, and Google or othercloud platformsCollaborating with solutions architectsManagingcloud environments in accordance with NTT Ltd securityguidelinesDeploying and debugging Cloud initiatives as needed inaccordance with best practices throughout the developmentlifecyclePerforming system administration tasks includingconfiguration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and supportwhile innovating to automate as much as possibleInstallingconfiguring, maintaining, and supporting applications and serversin public cloud environmentsPerforming operating system andsoftware application installation, patching, and upgradesEducatingteams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives,providing associated training as requiredTroubleshooting andresolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submittedthrough the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actionstaken, and steps for resolutionPerforming other tasks as defined,planned, and approved by leadership Additional JobDescription Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computerscience or equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in theenterprise infrastructure supportPreferredQualifications:Experience with public and private CloudtechnologiesExperience in migrating in-house services to a public publiccloud providerExperience with virtual/cloudinfrastructureExperience with software engineering, scripting,automation and orchestration tools (PowerShell, Ansible, GitHub,Terraform)Experience provisioning, configuring and maintainingcloud computing services such as AzureExperience supportingMicrosoft technology, including, but not limited to: Windows Serverand Client OS, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, SQL, IIS,DNS, and DHCPOperational understanding of IP-based computernetworking within LAN and WAN environments includingimplementations in a public cloud environment
