Job Description: OpsRamp Lead Administrator Preferred Location :Mysore/Ahemdabad Total years of experience: 4 years to 8 years Role Summary OpsRamp Lead Administartor will be responsible for the deployment, administration, maintenance, and optimization of the OpsRamp observability platform. The role involves onboarding infrastructure and application components, configuring monitoring solutions, integrating with ITSM tools, and ensuring platform reliability to support enterprise IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and maintain the OpsRamp platform, gateways, and agents. Discover, onboard, and manage monitoring for servers, network devices, cloud resources, storage systems, databases, and applications. Configure monitoring policies, thresholds, alert rules, and escalation policies to ensure proactive incident detection. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, service maps, and network topology views. Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Configure notification channels, including email and collaboration tools. Integrate OpsRamp with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow. Configure event correlation, alert suppression, automation workflows, and remediation actions. Implement and manage Synthetic Monitoring, SNMP, API, SSH, and cloud-native monitoring solutions. Perform platform upgrades, health checks, backup management, and troubleshooting activities. Generate and analyze availability, capacity, SLA, and performance reports. Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes. Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams to ensure effective monitoring coverage and operational excellence. Required Skills & Experience 4-6 years of hands-on experience with OpsRamp or similar Observability/Monitoring platforms. Strong expertise in OpsRamp administration, monitoring configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience integrating OpsRamp with ServiceNow and other ITSM platforms. Good understanding of IT infrastructure components, including: Windows and Linux Servers Network Devices (Switches, Routers, Firewalls) Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Storage and Database Technologies Knowledge of monitoring protocols such as SNMP, WMI, SSH, API, and Syslog. Experience in event management, alert correlation, and automation workflows. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
