TATA AutoComp Hendrickson Suspensions Pvt. Ltd. (THSL) is a leading manufacturer of suspension systems for commercial vehicles in India. A 50:50 joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. (Tata Group) and Hendrickson International (USA), THSL combines global suspension technology with deep understanding of Indian operating conditions.
We design and manufactures advanced suspension solutions including air suspensions, rubber and bogie suspensions, lift axles, and parabolic springs for trucks, buses, tippers, and trailers. With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Pune, THSL is known for its strong engineering capabilities, focus on quality, durability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design and development of suspension systems (air suspension, leaf spring, dampers, anti-roll bars, linkages) for Bus platforms
- Define suspension architecture aligned with vehicle performance targets (ride, handling, stability, NVH)
- Drive advanced simulations (FEA, MBD) and engineering calculations
Project & Program Management
- Ensure adherence to project milestones, cost targets, and quality standards
- Manage risk assessment, DFMEA, and design validation plans (DVP&R)
- Lead issue resolution during prototype, testing, and production stages
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of design engineers and analysts
- Drive capability development within the team (tools, processes, best practices)
