CAD migration from SolidWorks to NX
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
Should have knowledge in basic manufacturing processes.
Experience in Sheetmetal design is a must.
Should have working knowledge of GD&T/GPS.
Should be good at understanding scope, requirements and generate concept design.
Should be good at maturing the concepts, produce detailed drawings.
Should have good experience in working on Teamcenter application.
Should have sound proficiency in using SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD Inventor.
Exposure to working in PLM is an added advantage.

Experience in Electrical cabinets/equipment will be added advantage.
Should have Knowledge of sensors, instrumentation, or subsea/marine products.
Familiarity with engineering calculations, verification, and design validation.
Experience with engineering change management and product maintenance.
Develop mechanical parts for Subsea Sensors according to prevailing specifications.
Prepare drawings and BOM for production in accordance with orders and customer documentation, using Inventor and AutoCAD, with files stored in Teamcenter and SAP.
Ensure that mechanical design is carried out according to industry norms/procedures, such that mechanical parts is fully documented and analyzed.
Prepare production documents and procedures to guide production with respect to assembly, testing, calibration and manufacturing.
Develop production tools, fixtures and test accessories that are required in order to test, calibrate and manufacture the sensors.

Siemens NX - Proficient
SolidWorks - Basic knowledge
AutoCAD Inventor - Proficient
Teamcenter - Proficient
