Manufacturing Optimization Engineer
Apple
Apple is where individual imaginations gather together, committing to the values that lead to great work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver is the result of us making each other’s ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It’s the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something.
Manufacturing Optimization Engineers (MOEs) own the continuous improvement strategy and operational excellence initiatives at Apple’s contract manufacturing (CM) partner factories in India. MOEs are responsible for driving breakthrough performance across safety, quality, productivity and cost by leading lean transformation programs and embedding best-in-class manufacturing practices. MOEs sit at the intersection of Apple’s engineering and operations communities, working cross-functionally to assess current-state performance, develop future-state visions and execute scalable improvement plans. They work in concert with supplier operations, quality and industrial engineering teams, as well as Apple's Product Design and Manufacturing Design organizations. Together, these teams implement and sustain new and existing manufacturing processes, workflows, materials and technologies across Apple's supply base in India.
