Detailed review of the Balance Sheet reconciliations which will include:
Identify actions to resolve the reconciliation issues identified,
co-ordination of actions to resolve reconciliation issues,
pro-actively manage these to completion, and
escalating as appropriate
Preparation of quarterly and ad-hoc analysis as required
Oversight for quality of monthly close, including QC on reporting
Involvement in the design/ improvements required in both ad hoc and BAU procedures, which may include the identification of simplification/ automation opportunities
Responsible for supporting the FC’s to maintain an effective control environment
Identify process improvements and propose enhancements
Document process flows
Reviewing the effectiveness of controls and maintaining up-to-date control documentation
Identification of daily/ monthly/ quarterly triggers which may assist the acceleration of month end reporting processes.
Ability to performed investigations of certain key matters which involve a detailed knowledge of the insurance industry and to work cross functionally in a a team.

Commerce (Accounting) Graduate with 8+ years of experience [Insurance Domain + BPO]
5+ year of experience in people management
Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills
Robust time management and organization skills
Self-disciplined and result oriented
Ability to multitask
Commitment and drive for results
Strong analytical skills
Ability to understand and question established process guidelines in order to bring about possible process improvements
Ability to find solution – especially for client queries and issues
