Job Summary

The Junior Consultant will provide comprehensive care to children with hematological disorders and childhood cancers. The role involves inpatient and outpatient clinical management, emergency care, chemotherapy administration, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and participation in quality improvement and research activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage children with benign and malignant hematological disorders.

• Assess and treat pediatric oncology patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and emergency settings.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with established clinical protocols.

• Supervise and administer chemotherapy safely as per institutional guidelines.

• Perform or assist in procedures such as:

• Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy

• Lumbar puncture with intrathecal chemotherapy

• Central venous access management (where credentialed)

- Manage supportive care, including:

• Blood and blood product transfusions
