Provide L2/L3 production support for Informatica ETL workflows and Big Data pipelines. Monitor and support Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, Hive, YARN, etc.). Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution within SLA timelines. Monitor batch jobs, workflows, and data loads to ensure smooth operations. Troubleshoot issues related to Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and job failures. Support and optimize Hive queries and data processing jobs. Perform UNIX scripting and command-line troubleshooting for job recovery and automation. Analyze logs and system metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution. Implement job scheduling, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and timely delivery. Prepare incident reports, status updates, and documentation.
2–5 years of experience in Production Support / Data Support roles.
Strong hands-on experience in:
Informatica PowerCenter / IICS (preferred) Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive)
Good knowledge of HiveQL and query optimization. Strong experience in UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting. Experience in job scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M, or similar). Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience handling incident, change, and problem management (ITIL processes).
