Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your skills by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to align with the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Power Business to be based at Nelamangala, BANGALORE, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Oversee Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives, identifying innovative ideas and developing them into practical manufacturing solutions.
- Manage project planning, execution, budgeting, and implementation of Smart Factory projects within defined timelines and priorities.
- Analyze existing material flow, information flow, operational processes, and factory architecture to design and implement future-ready smart manufacturing systems.
- Identify key technical requirements across direct and indirect manufacturing processes and develop standardized, automated, and optimized solutions.
- Plan and facilitate assembly processes, layouts, and assembly line qualification, while effectively managing stakeholders, negotiations, communication, and complex problem-solving.
