As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
We are seeking engineers with experience in system software and device level functional safety concepts and implementations. This position will be a hands-on role in leading Functional Safety concepts and requirements in existing and next generation ADAS/Autonomy systems offered by Qualcomm, while optimizing and exercising the full capability of the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform.
Responsibilities shall include the following
- Responsibilities will include leading functional safety related activities for stack development and ensure ISO 26262 compliance with respect to SW architecture, development processes, and work products.
- Communicates and coordinates FuSa topics within the project(s).
- Conduct and support safety analyses (e.g. HARA, FMEA, FTA, HAZOP) and identify areas of improvement.
