This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. GoDaddy's Commerce Engineering team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Mission Control team in Gurgaon. Mission Control manages GoDaddy's connected payment terminal fleet, while our Mothership platform powers device management, APIs, job orchestration, and fleet operations at scale.

As our platform continues to grow, you'll build modern React applications, develop Node.js and Go services, and help deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software for mission-critical commerce infrastructure. You'll design APIs, optimize databases, leverage AWS, Redis, and Elasticsearch, and contribute to distributed systems that support production workloads.

This is a true full-stack engineering role with end-to-end ownership. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, participate in code reviews, mentor teammates, improve platform reliability, and help shape technical decisions across the platform.

We're also investing in AI-assisted engineering, giving you the opportunity to leverage tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and ChatGPT to accelerate development while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality.
