Executive Manager | Delivery Manager | Hyderabad | Engineering as a Service/ Operate

In this role, you will lead teams building and scaling systems that power reservations, pricing, fleet allocation, counter workflows, customer identity, and mobile experiences across global, multi-brand environments. You will operate in a high-scale, transaction-intensive ecosystem, ensuring systems are reliable, performant, and aligned to business needs.

You will partner closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, API-driven, and resilient engineering solutions. Your day will include overseeing sprint execution, reviewing architecture and code, resolving production issues, and driving engineering best practices across the team.

You will also play a key role in platform modernization, including moving legacy systems to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures, improving observability, and strengthening CI/CD pipelines.

A significant part of your time will be spent mentoring engineers and Tech Leads, guiding technical decisions, managing delivery risks, and ensuring alignment across multiple teams while balancing near-term commitments with long-term platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and microservices, defining architecture and selecting appropriate technologies.

• Own the end-to-end delivery of software projects, from requirements through testing and deployment, coordinating multiple streams and ensuring timely completion.

• Guide and mentor engineers, perform performance reviews, support career growth, and build high-performance teams.

• Collaborate closely with product management, frontend, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver features end-to-end.

• Champion best practices for code quality, security, performance and maintainability, including code reviews, testing standards and CI/CD integration.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
