Roles & Responsibilities:
The Engineering Product Quality (EPQ) role is responsible for partnering with engineering teams to ensure product and service quality throughout the development lifecycle. The position combines traditional Quality Assurance (QA) responsibilities with a strong focus on AI-driven digitalization, agent development, and prompt engineering.
- Project Quality Governance
- Plan, monitor, and report preventive quality assurance activities.
- Moderate Quality Gates (QGs).
- Conduct QA activities aligned with organizational processes.
- Provide early risk identification, escalation, and stakeholder management.
- Lead project quality topics and drive AI-enabled digitalization of EPQ activities.
- Project Team Coaching
- Prepare project teams for quality gates, milestones, releases, and assessments.
- Coach teams on processes, methods, tools, and standards.
- Promote engineering excellence practices such as clean design, clean coding, technical debt management, and CX implementation.
- Contribute to engineering discussions and key decisions.
- Value-Added Quality Activities
- Identify and mitigate product/service quality risks.
- Analyze defect patterns, field issues, and vulnerabilities using data-driven approaches.
