Job overview and responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality applications and system-specific projects and programs. This includes creating and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, performing manual and automated testing, automation scripting, defect management, environment validation, performance testing, and leveraging AI-powered testing tools to improve quality and efficiency.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with application development teams, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure software products meet functional, non-functional, performance, security, and reliability standards through both traditional and AI-assisted testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Functional, Automation, Integration, API, Performance, and Regression Testing.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.

- Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Copilot, GenAI-based test generation, self-healing automation frameworks) to improve test coverage, productivity, and maintenance.

- Develop AI-assisted automation scripts and reusable testing utilities to accelerate testing cycles.

- Collaborate with development teams in implementing Shift-Left testing and continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.

- Define and execute test strategies for cloud-native and microservices-based applications.

- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor junior QA engineers on automation, AI-enabled testing practices, and quality engineering methodologies.
