DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an Engineer III - Manufacturing Industrialization to drive manufacturing standardization, technology transfer execution, and industrialization excellence across Thermo Fisher Scientific's global Contract Manufacturing network.
This role will develop and deploy scalable manufacturing processes, support manufacturing readiness assessments, establish Bill of Process (BOP) frameworks, and enable successful technology transfers across external manufacturing partners. The position partners with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, and Contract Manufacturing teams to improve operational performance and ensure consistent manufacturing execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and deployment of manufacturing process standards across the global Contract Manufacturing network
- Drive Bill of Process (BOP) development, governance, documentation structure, and continuous improvement activities
- Support technology transfer execution from development or incumbent manufacturing sites through commercial CM ramp-up
- Conduct manufacturing readiness assessments covering process maturity, supplier capability, capacity, risk, documentation readiness, and operational controls
