Test Automation Engineer
Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Test Automation Engineer to join our global, multi-cultural team. In this role, you will be the core driver of our automated testing strategies, focusing heavily on building and maintaining robust automation frameworks. You will write automated test scripts, collaborate closely with developers, and ensure our high-performance software solutions meet strict quality standards through continuous testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Robot Framework, Python, and C#.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure fast feedback.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to define the automation scope, objectives, and overall strategy.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze execution results, and perform deep-dive root cause analysis for failed tests.
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies to advocate for test automation and engineering best practices.
- Review requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications to ensure they are designed for testability.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new automation tools or techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for the test automation frameworks, scripts, and related infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related technical software field.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience dedicated specifically to software test automation.
- Strong programming skills and practical experience in both Python and C#.
