This Position reports to:

SEN. DIGITAL SOLUTION ENGINEER. SPECIAL.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid.

This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Execute Advanced Process Control/Optimizer projects including assessment, kick-off, pre-test, plant test, design, modeling, configuration, installation, commissioning, and post-audit.

- Implement ABB Ability™ Advanced Process Control/ Optimizer/Loop Performance Monitoring technologies as Lead Consultant/Engineer for any of the following sector - Chemicals and Specialty Chemicals, Energy and Utility, Refinery and Petrochemicals and Fertilizer

- Perform/Participate in Advanced Process Control/ Optimizer studies, proof of concepts/trial evaluation and provide user training.

- Support Sales and Marketing to grow Advanced Process Control/ Optimizer business.

- Assist with technical and Commercial proposals for new projects.

- Estimate Budget, Cost Modelling for a project.

- Shares best practices Lessons-Learned documentation across different projects and disciplines. Develop standard processes and tools for productivity and quality improvement.

Qualifications for the role:

- 5-8 years of experience of using the commercial APC software’s such as ABB Ability™ PnC, Honeywell Profit™ Suite, Aspen DMCplus / DMC3, Yokogawa SMOC etc.
