Job Purpose: This role is responsible for conducting detailed analyses of plant equipment performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to drive operational excellence. This role will also manage equipment budgets, ensure the reliability of instruments, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven root cause analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.
Deputy Manager - OE Analytics
Operational Excellence and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analysis of major plant equipment, utilizing test data to identify performance trends and losses.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues using data-driven approaches and implement rigorous checks based on historical data to prevent future inefficiencies..
Communicate identified gaps to stakeholders and collaborate on developing resolution strategies.
Support in the resolution of issues based on insights and analysis from operational data.
Equipment and Instrument Management:
Manage instrument budgeting, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
Manage calibration schedules to maintain the accuracy, reliability and availability of major equipment.
Follow up on MoC (Management Of Change) approvals and notify Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams as necessary and update on SAP systems.
